Ocapi is a joint initiative between Wave Corporate Finance and Bloqhouse Technologies.
In 2024, Joost van Kessel and Tim Rutgers spotted a clear gap in the corporate finance landscape. While most firms offered similar services, almost none provided tech-enabled solutions to support their clients beyond traditional dealmaking.
But the opportunity was obvious: what if corporate finance firms could continue offering their core services and provide clients with a branded digital platform to manage their cap table, engage investors, and run new funding rounds? Not only would this create a new revenue stream – it would deepen client relationships by embedding firms into every stage of their client’s growth journey. Clients who stay close are more likely to return for future support as well.
